Post Foxworthy

I spent the better part of the day taking my Blue Foxes apart and rebuilding them into the Foxworthy thingamabobs. It was fun and they turned out looking just like yours minis the bite marks...yet. I made three different ones, all the same weight but different blades and colored bells. Fun stuff, can't wait to try them out It will have to wait until Thursday morning...Thanks again for all the help.

How the heck do you take a blue fox apart?

I cut the wire off just above the blade and disassemble the lure and then cut the wire off at the hook. now you have all the pieces in front of you. Then it is just a matter of putting them back together with the parts you want. Different hook and I installed a swivel at the top of the lure for less line twist. I have a wire bending tool along with a twister that I use for the reassembly process. You can use two sets of pliers to obtain the same results but the spinner making tools are a real time saver.

Default Jiggin!

Well it looks like I have another chore to do. I have zilch in bass lures and that looks like a winner. Does anyone fish for bass in the upper Willamette?
Reason I ask is, it's the closest body of water to fish in, where I live at and need to think cheap with gas prices being what they are.

Default Upper Willamette

Thanks for the tip. Just last week I drove to Albany to take a look at Bowman Park's launch facilities. Not bad! I did that after taking a look at Wallace Marine park and realizing for the first time(new comer to Oregon), that they take out the docks from late Oct to middle of May.
Another factor in checking out the Albany area is, since the influence of the Santiam is absent, I was wondering if the flow would less pronounced. Maybe more bass friendly.
