Nelson and I have fished Hagg for bass, he more than I. I think he had pretty good luck with senko worms. I threw spinners, both bass and trout will go for them, big flashy ones.

It's always sad to hear about fishing holes going down hill. Whether or not you caught much there, I'm sure you still have plenty of good memories.

Hagg is open March 1st to November 23rd this year. 1 bass per day.
I can't wait to get up and there see what patterns will work this spring. Gotta wait another month though... ![]() |

Catch and Release means no limits. I plan to hit Hagg when it it re-opens and work the deeper structure areas with a dropshot or shakey jig. I plan to scout out some pre-spawn transition breaks with a jig-n-pig, too.
