Good job Nelson, I love bass fishing, but I haven't partaken in it for some time. I've got a couple of trips planned this summer though.

Default Got my first Willy SM Bass Sat.

Went with some friends to try for some smallies. I went to Fisherman's Marine and loaded up with some spinners and soft baits. A couple jigs too. My friend caught two decent little guys right off the bat. Then the wind picked up and the girls got cold. So they gave a a few more mins. Low and behold my first Small mouth Bass ever! My friend was pumped as he said it was one of the bigger ones he'd seen so far. I don't have scale so i have no idea what the weight was. I was pumped no matter what. Let the fella go unharmed.

A friend and I went out by meldrum bar and got some smallie action on some swim minnows and worms and bobbers. He caught 8-9 I caught 3-4. Most were pretty small. The shore is really steep and I made it all day without coming close to falling in, but.......As we were leaving I slipped and my left shoe up to my knee went in. Some Willy river water sure will stink up a boot. LOL. Can't wait for the weather to warm a little so the bigger fish might rise up a little. I love those smallies!

Default Bobber fishing

Nice fish....ever tried bobber fishing for Steelhead or Trout ? Same tactic just produce. First bite First Bite™Jigs LLC - Steelhead jigs, Salmon jigs jigs offers some impressive tackle, I recommend them - they work

Default ohh, to CLARIFY

sorry guys I forgot to mention that the top post was just a LINK.

I do not know who caught those fish. Although I know it must be in the Eugene area, or abouts.

Sorry for the confusion ....they posted on an ahh.....another forum, and I just thought I should get a bit of a conversation going.....
