For the past two days I have been very well with this: A 3/8 oz brown jig with a Yum brand brown/orange crawdad tube off the back. The tail of it is solid so you can put it on a jig pretty well. I was filling the tube part with crawfish smelly jelly after every strike. They were holding on to it for a long time.
I fished it around brush and drop offs slow. And I mean REALLY slow. Along the bottom with a hop or two and let it sit with as tight a line as possible without moving. Then hopped it again and let it sit. Soon as they picked it up I set the hook.
That's what has been working for me. Yesterday I got 5, missed a few hits and had three get off. All 3 - 5 pounds. Might be worth a shot.

Default Lost lures....

I have managed to lose most of my lures to bushes and rocks not to mention the dam trees. No fish yet but some very nice stick fish, one gave me a real nice fight I am still trying and plugging along, I will succeed, I will succeed, I will succeed....Positive thinking can't hurt, RIGHT ?

I did get to go today. Went to Zen's pond, Adair pond, got kicked out of a pond at Tangent Industrial Park, and caught a pair of nice bass at Silverton.
